@Eiswald @confederatehobo It's a fact that the brain needs to cool down a few degrees in order to properly fall and stay asleep. I've met a few people who, like you, prefer freezing-ass cold temperatures when they sleep. I'd imagine people who enjoy cold-as-fuck sleeping probably have some Nordic ancestry (everyone I met irl did, anyway).

@judgedread German-occupied Eastern Europe executed thieves, too, in addition to the American West at one point.I'm of the mind that thieves should be executed because they don't just harm the person they stole from. They weaken societal cohesion and breed distrust between neighbors. The degree of damage resulting from the ripple effect of their actions must be taken seriously to the point of removing those bad actors from the gene pool.
