Had a conversation the other day with someone about the ways to refer to those who have both male and female bodily traits.For critters that have a feminine body (as in breasts and vagina) and a penis, I know the term "hermaphrodite" is interpreted by some as a slur.For those with a masculine body but a vagina instead of a penis, cuntboy is a term some hate.So... what are better words for those? Are there any?

And perhaps a follow up question: If someone does use the terms hermaphrodite or cuntboy when referring to themselves, as a good faith self-description of their body, how do y'all feel about that?I've used the word hermaphrodite to refer to Shira for ages, and still haven't found something that fits better.

Request for y'all: Can you please be a little more descriptive in your content warnings? Just this morning, I've seen "dog" mean any of the following.1. Photos of the four legged animal2. Artwork of an anthro canine3. Photos of fursuits4. Photos of pup hoods and similarI think it's awesome that this is a place where people can post all of those things! But using an extra word or two to disambiguate is helpful to everyone. 💙

Can you become friends with an artist you've commissioned? Of course! It's a perfectly valid starting point for building rapport. But it's unhealthy to assume that just because you gave an artist money to create a thing, you're automatically better friends just because you completed a business transaction.

Click where it says "No description added" and you can describe the image to everyone.2. Use hashtags! @apps I receive notifications when there are new reports, but they aren't actionable. There's no way to click the Android notification nor the entry in Fedilab's notification column to do anything.So, unfortunately, I have to tag this as "doesn't work" since whatever functionality exists is unhelpful.
