@koakuma yeah, they cannot not be because of dependencies produced by configuration... They are part of the same task but, I though you were talking about the building process was slow. I havent build many things in my life... Only printer drivers, and a php 7 from its source for a EOL Ubuntu Server.

@koakuma hmm probably that happens by order of the devs to avoid problems. I think some of the packages, freshly built, could be needed by another package that will be built, making it a dependency of, and again, the story repeats. Probably independent packages can be built in parallel and the ones who need a previous package would need to work serialized. Btw I am just wondering around the topic since I am not that immerse into that kind of development, yet it is pretty funny to build software from source, somehow it is like creating a new born life :0331:
