@kallisti Callisto, in Greek mythology, a nymph, or else a daughter of either Lycaon of Arcadia or of Nycteus or Ceteus. Callisto was one of the goddess Artemis’ huntress companions and swore to remain unwed. But she was loved by Zeus and, in several variations of the legend, was turned into a she-bear either by Zeus (to conceal his deed from Hera) or by Artemis or Hera (who were enraged at her unchastity). ErisEris is said to be the child of Zeus and Hera, the king and queen of the gods of Olympus, but in other myths, she’s the daughter of Erebus and Nyx, the king and queen of the darkest night. When she had a son, she named him “Strife” and took him along in her chariot when she and Ares went to war. Bottom line, Eris was a goddess who existed only to start trouble. If there were a deity for Internet trolls, people who post on a comment thread just to stir people up, Eris would be that goddess.

@kallisti I think my favorite is "Seven Seas of Rhye" because it reminds me of Tolkein, and the guitar solo is amazing. (Studio version)

@kallisti Hi, Kalli, I'm back. The Christmas wreath isn't finished, but I've made a good start. Had to go out and cut some pine boughs, then trim and wrap them. Still no red ribbon, and the red acanthus berries aren't to my liking. It's going to be dinner at McDonald's at 8, and football at 11 my time (UTC+8).Terrible thing about Japan and Croatia last night... @kallisti I find the Dao De Jing very difficult to decipher, probably because I grew up with a Western mind. Please don't blame me!!!I must tell you that I honor and respect Laozi and you for the wisdom which can be found in that book. There are also some places in it which I (believe that I) understand but disagree with. Good book? Yes. Relevant? Mostly.

@nikiboo FYI, China has the largest Navy in the world by vessel count. Quite a coastline, too. I've sailed quite a bit of it.
