       @sajan it's very strange to me. I live in a progressive town that was generally pro-mask but I'm now frequently the only one with a mask in the grocery store...it's like...there's one weird trick to help you not become a disease vector. Instead parents at school just make weird jokes about how everyone is sick right now, it's crazy.

       @john @futurebird the DDG image search is also wacky. I was trying to get an image of RoundUp packaging (a pesticide). The general search results were good but the images were all of just round packaging. Not a single RoundUp result.

       @catvalente yeah they closed school where we are and I thought they might be overreacting but it is damn cold. It's hard enough being stuck inside with a toddler, sorry for all the puke. Temps hopefully back to normal on Sunday or we begin to really test our family mettle hehe.

       @grammargirl I feel a preference for "spell-check" I think mostly because I like little dashes and things...but my phantom copy editor says spellcheck is best
