@marcel @catboot @nikita @adfichter Well, WhatsApp, Signal und Threema haben schon die Telefonnummer. Damit sind die Personen ja schon eindeutig identifiziert. Altersnachweis in Telefonnummer einbauen (via single-bit antwort vom Telco provider) sollte ja wohl machbar sein.

@tuxedocomputers But people are used to having a phone, a laptop AND a server/cloud. In three different devices, that all connect easily, can sync files, calender's etc pp. If you would ship all three devices together, with pre-configured connectivity, then we are talking.

@aral Instances of a municipality seem appropriate. Instances of one require grandmas, disabled folx and kids to host their own, so in oder to not exclude them... Municipal services should include instance hosting.

@ceperez Paid services fall under regular sanction regime. Obviously they are also super easy to circumvent (just need some shell business in another country to buy API access).
