Whatever you think of Owen, he likes to do his research, and he might very well come up with one of those sticky rhetorical slurs that will damage Ethans ego to a point of no return.

@randbot I genuinely think that each time he "reframes" the situation in his head, his ego takes a blow. If he could simply reframe everything into a win, he wouldn't need to abuse alcohol and drugs. My point being that Owen is an adversary that might tip him over the edge of being able to medicate to cope.

These are the "scientists" that so many people blindly put their faith in. If Kirsch's claims are true the NPC theory needs to be studied scientifically, because this rather large sample-size seems to indicate that the CDC is literally ran by NPC's who don't even do the things they purport to be field experts in (aka the "science"). It could also indicate that the people who would have fixed it - because they aren't NPC's (based on the pareto 80/20-rule) - have long been ostracized, because they are still capable of thinking, and couldn't stand the treatment at the CDC. Imagine if the "NPC-theory" could somehow be scientifically applied in other areas. It would probably be the best argument against democracy, because it would definitively prove that most people - regardless of their IQ - are not capable of thinking for others; let alone themselves. Modern "scientists"> a group of people who all defer to authority; who circle-jerk each other within a parameter set by the authority, who enjoy the approval of and protection by said authority from any dissenting scientists coming from outside the scope set by the authority.

@CatboyCumDump @wildgoose @JarboTheHutt Spotify is actual garbage unless you use a mute plugin; and even then you are listening to music with gaps of silence. It is almost as bad as YouTube with adds (which isn't a problem for the real G's that only watch content that has been demonetized).
