@futurebird Boarding school damaged my grandad, aunt and mother in law…thankfully my parents had no money and a bizarre faith in comprehensive schools (UK state secondary education) despite neither having been educated by them. My mum went to a Catholic convent and my dad a boy’s grammar school. Tbh they often said they just wanted us not to not think the opposite sex was alien. I look at what boarding school boys have coldly and selfishly done to UK as MPs and shudder.

#Norwich on a summer Saturday always has a feel of festivity, indie crafts, protest and naked capitalism.I usually love the way it’s everything to all people, all at once. And most of the time everyone gets along. But today I felt sad. I witnessed intolerance.A band was playing the Cranberries’ Zombie while a woman with Downs Syndrome happily danced in front of an appreciative crowd. Less than 20 metres away police were arresting a young women for holding a handwritten sign. #Gaza

The intense ‘everything all at once’ sensation continued as I walked 100 metres further to a #Banksy and #Bitcoin exhibition.I had come for the Ralph Steadman desk used to create the imagery for Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas…but found myself drawn into a strange conversation about the morality of Bitcoin with a tipsy late middle aged man holding a lager bottle. I said I was opposed to the huge amount of energy it consumed. Not the answer he wanted to hear. Escaped 15 mins later.

@futurebird That sounds so cool, I love it! You brought back memories of when I was primary school and decided to stitch a books together and put puzzles and treasure maps in them.I don’t remember where I got the stitching idea from? I know we didn’t have a stapler (or anything much in the way of stationery), so most of the time it meant we had to get creative. But codes and encryption…that’s a whole other level of fun and learning!

@Nonilex I feel very sorry for the children and step children involved. The implication is that if you are that rich you are above the law. That is a hideous state of affairs. But none of it can be solved by a family member who hung out with Epstein, has a rough history with his numerous ex-wives and is a ketamine addict.

When I went down the route of buying an EV 2 years ago everyone said I was out of my mind, as I had on street parking. They said why didn’t I compromise and get a plug in hybrid.I wasn’t convinced. @junesim63 Everything that could be wrong about how these ‘terrorists’ came to trial for trying to stop the UK supporting #genocide is happening. To ban the words ‘burger’ and ‘sausage’ in relation to plant or veggie based versions is just completely non-sensical of the #EU.
