@eben Maybe a small bump. My real hope is that if Mastodon gets more popular it will be a great household name example of #OpenSource to have more conversations about other tools, services, and platforms that can also be run in a similar way. And then through that #linux adoption go brrrrr

@tilvids @fedora Fedora Marketing person here! We are aware of PeerTube, but right now I think most of our involvement is relegated to individual teams trying it out themselves. The most established one that I know of is for @fedora.design, which they will also be using for the #CreativeFreedomSummit!

@killyourfm I guess the new logo communicates the idea of being a an app store with app icon looking things and a plus to add more apps. The old logo was good and fine, though. Oh well, good luck to the new design!

@thenewoil Thanks for surfacing this. It seems like the biggest complaint is coming from business who say that targeted advertising is too effect to lose like this. My response: of course it is! You're basically spying on people. No wonder your omnipresent targeted ad works better than a billboard. That still doesn't make it right to spy on people. Take the L and find another way.

Any recommendations on a kanban style app that's native to Linux? I want to organize my tasks with an Eisenhower decision matrix and a Kanban board would be great for that. Most of what I'm finding are task lists which I don't want because they don't take advantage of horizontal screen real estate.

@BrodieOnLinux if you feel you have enough thoughts to make a video on this, I would be interested in watching that. I think there are multiple factors coming together to the decline in interest for making Fedora release content. For a few releases users were excited to get the latest software in such a stable and boring way. A couple more cycles after that and I think the "unremarkable" part of the equation has grown.

@protonprivacy Feature request: can we have a way to filter out Android email notifications that are for emails which have rules to go straight to a folder? I had to unsubscribe from a mailing list because the notifications from it were too much on my phone and I couldn't easily keep track of my more important messages.Maybe another way is to have a setting where I only get notified of the emails that land in my inbox? Not sure what's the easier way to get what I'm looking for.I love Proton!
