@kathleenbee @LisbonMuse Yep, they're messed up to begin with and likely because of porn, standard male entitlement and they were also likely abused and/or neglected as kids. Probably bullied too. Unfortunately boys are taught that anger is a good thing so they act out. Hence an abused little boy may well become abusive and dangerous in adulthood. Also, boys being socialised to kill off empathy doesn't help either.

Was reading The Sexual Liberals and Their Attack On Feminism today. Really informative and cemented a lot, but it really is depressing. Really hit home in particular how men always end up making feminism all about them and their problems 🙄😡. Accusing us of sexism (what the actual fuck?!) and trying to deny and erase our oppression. 😡 🤬 I'm never ever again talking to men (or liberals; their agents) about anything to do with women's rights or the mountains of problems with men. Recently experienced all of this along with all the usual narcissist tactics of gaslighting, playing the victim and bullying. Really badly affected my mental health. Don't need that again.But, fuck it makes me despair that we have to be silenced and abused back into line like this. It isn't fair and shouldn't be allowed. We are right, damn it and they know it! That's why they cover it up so hard. Sick of their underhanded tactics! Makes me feel so powerless, it's so horrible 😩 😭

@taehyung Very few are able to attempt it, but they'll never be able to be real Radfems. Objectification, porn and entitlement around sex will always trip them up. They can avoid it, but it'll never be totally gone from them. My partner tries, but he's always be tainted by it to some degree and of course not being female he'll never ever be able to genuinely understand our oppression.

Does anyone know of any mental health peer support sites? I was on Side by Side but got bullied off of there for trying to talk about bad treatment from men and what men are like. Also for calling out a predator on there. I'm so alone at the moment. Have really bad mental health stuff and need someone to talk to. Tried phonelines tonight but they are all busy. Mental health has got worse since being bullied. I'm not handling life very well, so trapped.

Read about Belle Delphine on Feminist Current. Had no idea who she was but her story is truly upsetting and disturbing. Feel so awful for her. Her mental health must be completely destroyed. I hope she can get out of the sex industry, I really do. It's awful that there are so many women like her, but it's particularly disturbing that her her gimmick is defined by pedophilic anime, rape and CSA themes. I remember someone at a survivor's group I went to mentioning a young woman who sold her bathwater and I said it was really sad and a shame that she felt the need to do that. The woman who mentioned it argued that it was empowering and I felt so shocked and betrayed (thought she was my friend) that I had to walk away from her and the conversation. Turns out this young woman who sold her bathwater was Belle Delphine; I was horrified. This ex "friend" of mine is an absolute monster, even more so than I thought. Truly, truly evil. And they do it under the delusion of it being "empowering", "fun" "cool" and "in control". So many women and girls are going to be utterly broken by this, the need for mental health care will skyrocket. I wish we could just treat the root cause and end the sexualisation of women and girls. Hits home a lot for me because I have been severely traumatised by it too.

@RockTheBoat Better yet give up on dating men and try to undo the socialisation of romance and sexuality. It's those lies that keep women down. Romance is an utter lie and our sexuality has been manipulated to fit with men's needs. Ultimately dating is a way for men to get their very own woman to own and use. They'll lie about it and dress it up because they don't want you know what it's really about. Almost all are incapable of love or empathy.The odds of finding a man with radical feminist morals is so low anyway it's pretty much impossible. Almost all men are either nice guys or outright misogynistic thugs. The best most women can hope for is a nice guy, sadly. Even if you did meet one of the super rare guys with empathy and the capacity to love somewhere in there, they'd end up hurting you first before they could change.Happened with my partner; porn addict and severely in denial. Turned him into a very selfish, devious and nasty person. This was the most gentle, kind and trustworthy man I'd ever met besides that. The only thing that made him give up porn was knowing how much he retraumatised me and learning about radical feminism. He put in a huge, huge amount of effort to fix our relationship; I wanted to walk away. It's better now but I'm forever changed by the trauma. I was extremely lucky; most men far are worse than him. Even the few men who can be redeemed hurt you beforehand; not worth it. Men are broken, we need to learn that and move on. Not our job to fix them either.

Women from the Left and from the Right are essentially the same. Both conform to men's expectations of them, both service them sexually, both depend on men, both are religiously devoted to men and both have no idea of their own oppression. There is little difference between a wife and a prostitute; they are functionally the same. One instead having to service one man, and the other many as a means of survival. Both are bound to men equally as strongly. Been reading a lot of Dworkin lately, love her to death. She brings me a lot of clarity, even if it can be painful to know the truth.

Urgh. It pisses me off no end when women say to be happy they need to have a baby. No, a baby won't make you happy because they can't give anything, they can only take. All your energy will go into their needs and your identity will revolve around them. If you're already depressed then a baby will make you worse. That's what postnatal depression is, not a biological thing like we're lied to about. It's a situation that is ripe for abuse too; don't have kids if you're already not coping with life.Maternal instinct is also a myth to encourage women to breed, so they fulfill their primary socialised function. The "joy" that mothers have is nothing but ego and the joy of conforming to a standard of femininity. Children are just a consequence of sex, to want them in the first place is socialised. Also, as if we don't have enough people in the world as it is. We are already massively overpopulated and there are so many kids in foster homes and children's homes as it is. How about looking after the kids who are already here and in need? That would actually help rather than adding to the problem.

@sub_aetha I got suckered into all the trans stuff too. I used to called them by their pronouns and all that until I realised it's just feeding their delusions and further erasing us. I don't know who this TIM is but he sounds pretty shit from what people are saying. Even the better ones are still trying to worm their way in to our spaces. Nice and polite gets women no where either; we've been socialised to be accommodating and to bend over backwards to serve others. Sacrificing ourselves for men's wellbeing. Calling him she is doing just that.

@sub_aetha Some women on here will be more defensive and hostile than others according to how much this sort of thing hurts them. I guess it can be difficult when a male ally gets suckered into believing the lies. It's so rare to have male allies anyway and many have ended up betraying radical feminism. Andrea Dworkin's husband, John Soltenberg is a glaring example of this. But it's happened before then too with the male hippies of the 60/70's pretending to be on our side when actually they just wanted to dismantle feminism and use it to their advantage. It's been in ruins ever since, hence the birth of liberal feminism. So we're pretty wary of any men that join our cause.

@operaghost I think so too when I think about it rationally and don't get bogged down by despair. More and more people are waking up and the LGB Alliance are really fighting this too. Such outrageous lies and despicable behavior won't be able to survive much longer. A huge backlash is due. I think all this trans crap is men's undoing; they have gone too far this time and have revealed just how right feminism has always been.
