@Debradelai One of my soldiers in the 82d Airborne, SGT Mark Carter, reenlisted and was assigned to the 101st Airborne at Fort Campbell. After 6 months in the Sinai, he was on the plane coming home, but never made it. RIP SGT Carter.

@redwhitebluedude It occurred to me today that PDT wants to save all this stuff up for the trial. The eyeballs of the world will be watching as he (1) parades out the corruption more vast than can be imagined, (2) reminds everyone of his Constitutional duty to take care that the laws be faithfully executed, and (3) describes how the conduct of the Dems over the past 3+ years has constituted a giant obstruction of justice.

It will target ICE and CBP facilities and officers initially, with the goal to ramp up demonstrations, culminating with an attack on the Inauguration. The tactical goal will be to broadcast a split screen of the riot on one side and the Inauguration on the other. Their strategic goal will be to portray the election as illegitimate.

@Joycevor @Debradelai I was there in the 82d Airborne Division. I had a medical student tagging along with my unit for a couple of days. When things started getting bad, he figured the medical school had a good chance of being taken hostage, so he hid with locals he knew off campus. When we cleared the area, we found him, but didn't have any secure way to get him out, so we figured the safest place for him was to keep him with us until he could be evacuated.

@REX It varies by state, but I would assume in all of them he is already on the ballot and can't withdraw. It's too late - voting has already begun. Note that in a Presidential election we are all actually voting for electors pledged to vote for him. If he carries a state, his electors could decide to vote for someone else when they meet to cast their votes. So the DNC could engineer a substitute if he were to withdraw. The only person I could imagine them substituting lives in Chappaqua, NY.

When they have to start picking winners and losers, making decisions in the real world, they will alienate people who voted for them. Biden and Harris both clearly have demonstrated over their careers that they will pretend to believe anything that will get them elected, so as to keep the gravy train in operation. @Debradelai I have long advocated that Congress should meet in a different state every year. The host states could rotate in alphabetical order. It would be like hosting an Olympics or a Super Bowl. Each state would decide where Congress would meet and would have plenty of time to prepare. All of the lobbyists, prostitutes, and other camp followers would follow Congress around like the Grateful Dead on tour.
