I know most of us around here are broke, but I am desperate. I am a disabled trans woman, with a non binary partner, who is facing foreclosure, and whose refrigerator recently went out. 😞Fundraiser is below, please give it a share. @cjd pull up a chair....lolA group of people, some of which already had bad histories with trans people, wanted to create a shared blocklist. When the list was revealed, everyone on here who wasn't straight up seig heiling Nazis were lgbt servers, and especially trans servers, including ones celebrating queer and trans sexuality. Two of the main proponents, both black men, started accusing critics of being racist instead of addressing the problematic bans, and one claimed that trans women being Nazis is the norm.

@fediblock wait, what's going on with ArtiChat? If dot art blocks you all, you are going to be better off for it. I personally instance blocked them and several allied instances of theirs. So much more peaceful here since I did.I would highly recommend that to anyone.

@JonathanMBR completely innocent, in for something that shouldn't be a crime in the first place, more criminal responsibility placed upon them than they deserve.....On the last one, "felony murder rule" laws in US states come to mind. If multiple people are involved in a felony, and one of the people involved causes someone's death, even if the person was killed by a civilian bystander or law enforcement trying to stop the crime, everyone else in the crime will be charged with murder. Even if it was unplanned with no involvement from anyone else, or some of the conspirators were not let in on that part of the plan. There's people in prison for decades or life who may have gotten probation for robbery for instance because of this.
