@jeff @Fran Which one is that Jeff? I'm in Virginia and very aware of what the public schools are doing, and I'm not aware of any state mandated social isolation of any kind. Please elaborate so that we can evaluate the merit of your claims.

@jeff @Fran it varies by school system, but they did do school closures in some regions at the height of the pandemic in 2021. They put remote school tech in place to facilitate that and continue classes digitally. But they were back in-person pretty swiftly thereafter, and held in-person school throughout 2022, and have used a hybrid model to enable continual access for students that are either home sick or temporarily isolating based on current exposure or illness recovery guidelines. At no point did the state apply any kind of social isolation mandate, either through schools or in public life in any way. They gave people guidance on how to stay safe, and made free testing available. That seems pretty reasonable.

@jeff @Fran what are the "consequences we now have," exactly? The kids around here are doing very well.

@jeff @Fran All this, and not a single example of the negative consequences you've claimed? Not a single example of a state that mandated "social isolation"? No press release? No legislative bill? Or is it that wild claims with no evidence whatsoever are just your normal stock in trade?

@jeff @Fran so you're saying it happened in bunches of places, but it was also a Huge Secret that no one knew about, and no one ever wrote down, but also tens of millions of people were affected by these secret unannounced mandates that were somehow enforced in ways that no one has ever documented....? Do I have that right?
