@boilingsteam the YouTube scene here has done a lot of the legwork for younger Japanese people getting into pc gaming, I assume if the deck gets popular it would be through the same means

@boilingsteam true, but the element guys represent a *very* massive part of the matrix protocol governance and server software maintenance and development group, so seeing them start to seemingly break away from the foundation because of a loss of resources seems like bad portents

@aral Wayland was made default way too early for most of these major distros. Even valve don't fully support it because it has missing capabilities that X had. I can understand Arch and other rolling distros switching when they did but it baffles me the speed at which fedora and debian made the switch over.

https://privacy.thenexus.today/bluesky-atmosphere-fediverse/Good article, I'm definitely more on the side of (eventually) including #atprotocol PDSs or relays in the wider concept of the #Fediverse At minimum I really hope #ActivityPub devs learn from the atproto approach to Moderation as it seems miles ahead of the mastodon etc. approach to it
