       There are laws against enforcing a monopoly, but there is nothing stopping a company becoming a competitor in all industries, which is what the biggest tech companies have essentially done.I do not necessarily know the full correct solution, but I think this has allowed huge companies to gain too much power and influence.#capitalism #tech #monopoly

       @stuxAs a teenager, I worked at a convenience store that had a lottery machine.Every single day on closing, the lottery machine was 2k or more in favor of the lottery company.I saw multiple people every day toss $100 into the machine and spend every dollar they won on more lottery until they lost.It was just sad. I think advertising gambling should be illegal. It's extremely predatory.

       It's easy to look at how agile, stealthy, and successful at hunting house cats are and think of them as apex predators.But then I see Walter trying to eat the plant that gives him stomachaches for the 3rd time in a row, I have to wonder how they ever survived without us.I'm looking into a plant hanger.#cat
