@wzqtparor Why do you say you're a thought criminal? Even I don't say that about myself, although I have expressed many of my radical views (my theory of sex, my radical blasphemy against religion and god, and the positive philosophy, independent from religion, for atheism). Do you have any interesting philosophical or your independent ideas I could explore?

@wzqtparor As an opponent, can you explain the supposed error in my argumentation on the question of Semitism or anti-Semitism?

@wzqtparor Also, I will be glad if you consider my work on objectivity and certainty: Prometheus Fire (it is pinned). I would appreciate any honest feedback, i.e. if you tell me about what you can see and draw your conclusions from it, not about your emotions at the moment, but about facts and reality as it is. It is possible to do this comfortably in a week, but I suggest a month.

@Bleukitty In a free society, people are not slaves to other people, there is no common pot, and everyone lives on their own dime. If this poll is true, then no one supports the establishment of freedom (de-control), but half of Americans agree to deny all non-Americans the right to exist --- that is, rights are no longer the essence of human life and reason, they are simply a privilege of the President's administration, as in feudalism. Now that's "winning."

@Bleukitty You can see the full case for open borders here. I don't like everything about the lecturer (for example, his call for funding through taxes is terribly wrong), but he's a smart guy and makes a million good points and an excellent overall case for why open borders are good. He answers all the arguments against them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SmEYaFSMy6g

@bufordk A man must not give up while he has it, and he must not stop thinking, judging, and acting in truth. As long as you are alive, able to think and act (or will be one day), you can win. It is disgusting and hypocritical to give up the search for happiness, but not to kill oneself.

Explanation is impossible by the inexplicable or by requiring isolation from any part of the real facts. If you do not know the answer to a question, to say that it is the work of goblins, instincts, or devils --- is to close forever the possibility of explanation to yourself. Explanation is through the known, not the unknowable, and it binds all knowledge into a non-contradictory whole, rather than requiring you to close your mind to new or strange discoveries.

Explanation is therefore the opposite of any kind of taboo, and those who censor the mind, who suggest that we simply do not understand or distinguish between certain things --- are always liars and frauds.

@DianaSez I've developed a whole method for achieving objectivity and accuracy: Prometheus Fire.

@DianaSez I also defined, what I mean by rationality: willful comprehension of things (and dealing with them) as they are, through logic and evidence. And why it is not work like Plato imagined, without emotions or detached from a person, or through reminiscence about supernatural god or another dimension, like forms detached from concrete things. I defined how real rationality work with emotions.

@HSTG Thanks for the useful information. However, points 9 to 12 are more dangerous than a heart attack. The meaning of human life, of an individual, is in his values, self-sufficiency, understanding and self-love. Life has value only to the one who owns it and derives personal pleasure from it. He who devotes his life to the sick and the needy betrays health, joy, talent, and the future, that is, he betrays everything that makes life worth living, and he betrays all free and happy individuals.

@JesseStone Tariffs only cause fewer American goods to flow into foreign markets, and less American money to be used by foreigners, which means fewer American goods to be bought and values to be offered in return. The total amount of value and wealth for Americans will decrease, as will the level of freedom and civilization. Tariffs destroy the economy and create bondage for unproductive morons, and if your neighbor is a degenerate, you don't become an intellectual by following his example.

@JesseStone He is destined in the same way as a Führer or chieftain of a people is destined: as mass insanity and intellectual dependence, collectivism, medieval ideas, and the already almost total degeneration of human rights, freedom, and all American ideals. Your rhetoric, your explanation, his argumentation is no longer essentially different from Hitler's or Stalin's.

@nanook @JesseStone Who do you mean by "we"? Only concrete people can have property, want values, or make profits. If you don't have tariffs, then you're just buying goods overseas with a premium for the cost of transportation (compared to domestically). If you have tariffs, then you, the particular buyer, are forced to pay for the whim of the government, and the possible choice of values becomes narrower. Robbery or arbitrary imposition is not a means of production or profit.

@nanook @JesseStone A trade war can only be about competing to produce more and better, and in that war nobody gets destroyed (just thrown out of business while being free to learn and try something else), not about whose government robs more or lets others rob more.

@DianaSez My hypothesis is that they have your ideal imperative, now they will live a moral enough life by forgetting the ideals in practice. To be worthy, they must conform to the Form, but they don't need it by nature, or at least they don't understand it personally and concretely. This is the basic philosophical problem of how to integrate oneself and the world, and the example of the rationalist system, where Forms are completely detached from the concrete, in this case from their habits.

@HSTG It makes life unbearable, terrible and frightening, because on this principle of altruism no one works on one's own life and no one can care about anything without the self. A good person is not one who saves lives, but one who lives his life with integrity, always striving for the better and the right: for the ability to live happily, enjoying himself and independent of other people. Not one who lives for others, but one who lives his own life as a human being.

@HSTG You're real. You're human. You are not a ghost or a walking corpse, you are truly alive and when you die, you will die. You will no longer exist. You're unique and you're the source of your meaning, knowledge and purpose. You have meaning and purpose: it is the application of your intellect to your well-being and prosperity.

@HSTG Jokes have moral meaning because relaxing and enjoying the wit and intelligence of others has meaning: for human intelligent life. It is great that others can be intelligent and know how to live and think: they can potentially contribute to your happiness and development, or bring you good pleasure.

@HSTG And jokes make sense, unlike altruism. No one should live for the suffering or needs of others, and no one should want to receive such help as if he were an unworthy lowlife, but should live for his own happiness and fulfillment.
