       @EU_Commission Why only minors?  Ads targeting anyone based on their personal data should be banned altogether from online platforms.  Ads should be contextual only.

       @stux They're not even good looking.  I kinda understand importing one of those Jeep Wranglers with no doors as they look cool, but pretty much all other American cars are so incredibly ugly.  I don't get the appeal at all.

       @drgeraint Yup.  It took me an hour to replace a broken gear cable – at home with a load of tools at my disposal – as I couldn't get it to feed through the frame.What this nonsense means, is while it's easy to carry a £3 spare gear cable, it's not much use because it's not possible to replace it on the side of the road anymore.

       @stux Counternarcotic experts say that Venezuela is a relatively minor player in global drug trafficking, acting as a transit country through which drugs produced elsewhere are smuggled.The vast majority of cocaine entering the USA is estimated to be trafficked via the Pacific – only a small percentage come via fast boats in the Caribbean.It was just a bullshit excuse for the American government to steal Venezuelan heavy crude oil for it's southern oil refineries in Louisiana and Texas.
