       Your daily reminder that the US is not a democracy. It just loves to *say* that it is, same way it loves to tell you that you have 'freedom': even as children join the military because there is no other way for them to build lives, even as people work 3&4 soulless jobs just to get by, even while people die bankrupt of treatable diseases, even while rights are taken away and the homeless and hungry die in the streets, harassed by cops.What.
