Great discussion on #MSNBC #TheReidOut! Fellow #Mississippian #RichardWright (RIP🙏🏿) is my favorite author — something those familiar with his writing may have guessed from my handle. Wright's essay "#IChooseExile" was such a stinging indictment of life for #BlackAmericans in the 1950s that even #EbonyMagazine declined to publish it.
