       I've been asked about #FM on #PS1, and thought it's #Chiptune enough to share here!I'm showing off 2 patterns in Music 2000 / MTV Music Generator, and in each one I:1. Play just the modulator sample;2. Play just the melody sample;3. Play back unmodulated melody;4. Play the pattern again, this time with modulation!It's very weird thing to use in music making - I said it's FM, but it's more like "using one sample to modulate another"

       I got a new laptop, and I'm going full Linux on it, and hopefully all my Windows workflow will translate there nicely!I'm running Linux Mint which was super easy to set up and get going - so far I got Deep Rock Galactic and Minecraft with mods so I can play with my friendsPretty sure that all my Chiptune stuff will also smoothly work, since most of it is open source emulators, but we'll see :blobcatpeek: I'll be describing my journey through replies to this post :ablobcatbongokeyboard:
