As a LastPass customer my opinion is that every SaaS password manager is a high-value target that will eventually have a security incident. If not more than one. Note that Okta also lost its source recently. The trick is not to panic, but to review and change important passwords. And make sure 2FA is turned on for anything important.I did previously utilize KeyPass but its inconvenience became a weakness. But I think we need measured responses at this point.

One thing that I can't quite internalize in #go yet, particularly with maps and slices is what the impacting of trying to change a parameter or return value is.For example, slightly thrown that if I have map[string]MyType and I access it via a := p["myType"] then a is not assignable and I can't modify its fields i.e. a.myval = 3. I need to use map[string]*MyTypeIt's not obvious to me that an indexer would not return something assignable.

It's not a complaint about #go, more that it it would be nice to understand the "rules" about values, reference types and assignables that this was more intuitive.

@louis I believe the issue I stumbled into is this one here: https://github.com/golang/go/issues/3117
