Had my first mask fight. Well, today was as good as any with the ChiCom Virus on the way out and the northeast announcing reopening in the Tri-State area.I went into a small chain store to take care of something quick and paused at the entrance to pop on a face diaper. As soon as I get in this woman asks me from behind the counter, "Do you have another mask?"I look back at her in amazement from about 12 feet. "Another mask," I respond in disbelief. She saw that I had no connections on the bottom. I ignored her and went to the counter to drop something off for a return. The guy picks up and starts complaining about my mask. I gave him the package and it starts going. He claims my mask is not covering my mouth.Of course it is. It's just not connected to the back of my head from the bottom. So I say, "You're not the governor." He keeps complaining and blathers about store policy. I say the face covering is on and that's that. He tries to complain more that the mask is not covering my mouth. I point out it obviously is and to just give me a receipt and i'm out.He keeps complaining and insisting the face diaper is not covering my mouth and I reply immediately it is and I'm not taking instructions on it. Show me the policy in writing. I add he needs to get his vision checked. He says if I return with this mask he won't serve me. I ignored it and don't care.As I'm walking out the door, I say aloud, "Get over your paranoia. It's over!" Later I'm amazed I said that because I would have preferred something else but it'll have to do.Would have added that the face diaper is nothing but a virtue signaling, non-science bit of stupidity versus the ChiCom Virus but ya can't have everything.
