@dave I can’t even work on cars effectively anymore I might as well call up an older guy and that’s what I’ve been doing. You literally cannot find shit anymore and you have to dig for the most mundane shit. And I’m thoroughly convinced the Epstein/maxwell/kike/podesta/Clinton shit has something to do with it. (Obviously got too hot and they shut it down. Or this was the plan all along) It wasn’t that long ago when I was able to go on YouTube and find and informative video on an autistically specific topic. Or even just raw info like wiring diagrams, ultra specific charts, etc. Internet used to help me so much building engines now it’s a nuisance. I’m surprised people don’t talk about this anymore. It feels like I’m making a google search with the New York Times.

@ogre_fucker Watched event horizon 1997 last night for the first time with the wife. Great psychological sci-fi stuff and honestly stands alone. When you get past the late 90s CG flexing that looks dated and mildly cheesy acting in the beginning it has quite a charm.

@ItsSkyDragonz @TheVeryLutheranHousewife Saw something similar to this on tumblr in maybe 2010-2012. I wouldn’t let my daughters use the internet until they are at least 16 and with strict guidance. My girlfriend in high school was allowed internet access at a young age and I can confirm that the mental damage done was inconceivable and irreparable.

My mom was so strict with me I wasn’t able to use the internet until I was 13 or so, and even then I was so careful and tried very hard not to see bad things because I didn’t seek it. It all eventually found me though through kids at school and summer camp and so on. I made out fine, maybe it was the head on my shoulders. Wife is planning on homeschooling the kids but there is a whole set of problems that comes with that. It is very clear that they are coming for your children.

Since I was a child I have always felt a burning passion that I know could absolutely never ever be replicated. It’s not even up for discussion. I wish people would appreciate the miracle that is being present and being alive and celebrate it. There are some experiences I’ve had in my life that are 10x better than any conceived experience a faggot ass computer could come up with. People must have the most useless, bleak lives if they think the computer can save or replace them.

@WashedOutGundamPilot I was lucky enough to be curious, and video games/television didn’t enter my house until I was in my earliest teens. By then I was too concerned with skulking the neighborhood on my bike with the boys looking for girls our age and setting stuff on fire. My mom was a liberal but it never affected me somehow. She used to fall asleep a lot or she’d sleep in til 12 when I was like 5 or 6 and I’d just leave the apartment and walk around and fuck with stuff. I never had a father, but was lucky enough to have men in my family that owned businesses and I loved hanging out with them. They were always exceptionally hard on me, but they were always right. I feel like a lot of kids didn’t have someone being hard enough on them. I did have a ps2 but I was never really allowed on ( but looking back that thing was so fucking addicting. If someone didn’t pull me off of it constantly I would have been fucked. Some days I would wake up and want to play games and although upset that I was denied I would just have to find something else to do. I still play games to this day, and they are still very addicting. The few men I had in my developing years taught me not just how to fix a specific problem, but how to approach a situation and always have a solution. Being able to fix anything is like being a god among men these days. Women co-workers will love you, people (with no technical bones in their body) will pay you. Back then I hated being forced to shovel snow for hours or move wood or help fix some derelict shit, but now I wouldn’t take it back for anything. I would be crying outside cold or wet or something but those moments certainly hardened me. Some of my early jobs working with kids that never had that was BRUTAL. They don’t know how to do anything, even if they actually had a father. Nobody knows how to do shit anymore and my income basically depends on that.

White kid I went to highschool with got stabbed by a hoodrat in a white affluent town in 2021, shit really got to me because he got stabbed right in his major artery in the neck and died in minutes, bled out in the street in front of his girlfriend and his friends Fast forward to this week kid got 30 years for manslaughter, really pisses me off.
