@ligma @neil There is no existing UK legal definition of "adult content".

Hypothetically, if a club in Scotland raises funds for a particular purpose of the club, but then decides to spend those funds for other purposes of the club, in law what crime has been committed?Somewhat less hypothetically I know of a members club where exactly that happened, & when an aggrieved member went to the police was told "that is a civil matter".

Suppose a protest organisation met in Scotland to discuss proposals for non-violent protest actions in major cities of Scotland & England. The action would be an offence in England under s78 Police Crime Sentencing & Courts Act 2022, which does not apply in Scotland & for which there is no analogous criminal provision. Someone reports this meeting to English authorities prior to any actual action taking place in England. Quis juris?

Since opinion polls for Scottish independence are now starting consistently to be on the "Yes" side, it's so nice of Sir Keir to introduce a policy almost tailor made for a Scottish civil disobedience campaign against Westminster: a whole UK "Brit Card" mandatory ID app.
