I'm glad the journalist voiced the church's understanding on homosexual desire & abstinence equal to hetersexual desire & abstinence. Sexuality cannot be divorced from the Church's theological understanding & teachings.

A pastor may want to emphasize the historical truth for an audience that's like Joseph (skeptical) about a Virgin giving birth without knowing a man. The Incarnation is an event that happened in time. The date (Dec. 25th) as Jesus' official day of birth *may not be historically accurate,* but *the event* is. Hope we're on the same page?
