I remember now, way before this whole trans thing exploded, I had an argument with some Star Wars fans about gender. I was saying Data doesn't have a gender. They said he did because he had a dick and was created to look like a man. It made no sense to me then, but I guess now that would just be a normal conclusion.

Talking about sci-fi, DS9 had a symbiont that inhabited both male and female bodies, and no one made a big deal about it, it was just an accepted fact. They didn't devote episodes to it or invoke it for woke points.

Has anyone else read The End of the World is Flat, by Simon Edge? I forgot where I heard about this novel. It's a brillant satire of the trans movement. I didn't get it at first, but when the PR campaign started calling opponents "TERGs" and using slogans like "die TERG sum," it just hit me like a ton of bricks.
