@SonofGrace they will enjoy the chores more and more as responsibility, accountability and credit for a job well done begin to have value for them. I admit I did not like doing chores at first (especially pen cleaning post de-worming) but I came to and believe it has had life long positive impact.

@Mummabear when I cover the compost the ravens just fly around yelling at me but when they get to scavenge they kind of leave me alone, except the spring juveniles but they are always rude. The elders have a working relation with me, they do guard the chickens from hawks which is extremely cool to watch, but they have demands and I am thinking I am just going to give in.
