@toiletpaper I agree with you that it's all relative to your concept of the self or 'you'. At times, I see this self as merely an illusion, but when meditating, I do have a system in place for visualizing. This shows me that I consider some parts more as originating from me rather than projected in from outside. But I consider my self is a process. Something this really is doing for a bit. The stuff aligned, the mud sat up and marvelled at reality for a bit. That's phenomenon is me.

@MattMerk Ah, fantabulous! And that is precisely why we should value mediocrity.A theremin is a good instrument for that because aiming for excellence on that thing is damn well impossible, but a mediocre theremin solo is absolutely delightful.

@sfwrtr My last name, VVinters, is a bit of language dorking and relates to how the letter "W" was represented in older English texts, particularly during the late Medieval and early Modern periods. Early Latin alphabets didn't have the letter 'W', but used 'V' for both 'V' and 'W' sounds.It's why you can sometimes see witch spelled as VVitch. #ScribesAndMakers Do you give any of your work away for free? Let me put on my overthinking cap…Anything I share or do without monetary compensation, I do for other types of compensation. Occasionally, that's just plotting to see someone's smile.Perhaps, in that light, giving or sharing is never purely altruistic, and so not really 'for free'. Even if I'd doodle something, fold it into a paper aeroplane and send it out into the universe, I'd do so partially because I yearn for whimsy.
