@EthanHolmes 😂. My husband loves using the slow cooker and setting it going the night before. I have insomnia. One day he will wake up to find out that the smell has driven me to scooping out a large bowl full and eating it. And of course I will just pretend that he didn't put enough in 😋🤣

@EthanHolmes it's what my dad thought the song was called because we don't pronounce H's here. So he named me incorrectly after a song I hate. Funnily my friend from primary school who lived a few houses down our street has the same name for the same reason, only she has the surname to go with it. Also hates the song, and nobody believes it's her real name so I was more fortunate than her!

@EthanHolmes yes. I was going to use hello as an example of how it's pronounced but that's " 'ey up", so a better example would be "ow" instead of how.

@EthanHolmes there's a very noticeable American version of how English people speak. Even English actors use it in movies because of that perception, yet my husband and I originate from places 120 miles apart and not only have very different accents but some words mean completely different things. But that's great because if he gets annoyed with me he goes really broad hometown and I can't understand a word, so assume it's a compliment making arguments pointless 😂

#IntroPost married. Mixed race blended family with 2 teens still at home. Mixed #EDS types so wheelchair or horse rider. Knit, read, mostly avoid reality TV. Interests include history, engineering and science. I have two border collie puppies named Blue (he's not) and Drake (not a duck either), & a pony named Tonto because the previous owner didn't know the horse on TV was called Silver. @Homebrewandhacking @mekkaokereke there is work going into making server access easier, the biggest issue is getting moderators/admins to at least initially finance and put the effort into running them well.

When you allow someone to use your house because they are witness in a zoom court case. 😬. I miss the days when you could drop them off at court and pick them up to take them home when they phoned. It's really hard to keep the whole house quiet especially when the kids are home on a snow day. It could have been a lovely reason to avoid any stress.

@Reeter @spodlife @GossiTheDog same in England for private citizens. (Obviously it has to exclude traffic cameras and cctv to monitor busy areas where there can be trouble but they are police monitored.) Doorbell cameras can't record identifying parts of a street such as car registration numbers and if they have cctv at a house any windows, doors and access of others visible have to be blanked out.
