@srol More like that was the only one we could afford for years. A tin metal receiver, and the family television. PBS programs are curated by tens of millions of Americans, if we wanted anything else, then the DVD/VHS shelf was always there. Heck, if you could fiddle with the receiver right, you could even see some shows from NBC.Can't really argue against that logic, honestly would have done the same thing.

[1:40:27] Musical composer Samuel Andreyev hosts a conversation with Van Dyke Parks. A insightful interview with a man with an incredibly long career, late into his life. Subjects include folk music/"The Vernacular", incidental music, the music industry, film scoring, aging, oral traditions, and other 20th century composers. A piano gets played in some spots, even.https://youtu.be/H0X55NIrlOAl

@mono Honestly, I've lost the energy to care about that loose end. However, there's this character called the "federal communications commission" that manages to be an annoying dirtbag, yet literally all of the showrunners and crew members love him? He literally passes multiple hard drugs to the rich nerds, and it gets treated as this wacky B-plot that writers to incoherent nonsense for over 2 seasons. And then every single time they both get caught, the show switches to this saccharine "all's well that ends well" when it turns out it was ACTUALLY some random dude they talked to online. And this was just a single moment!

@null @tuxcrafting Was it Hawken? That one got snatched up by 505 Games after the developer went bankrupt. Also became increasingly microtransactional until it became unenjoyable (see also: Blacklight Retribution).

Used to sparingly wear small, golden chains necklaces and plastic rings while growing up. The family members liked these accessories, to my surprise. The problem was that I was still growing into the adult shape, and the chains were either too small, or far too excessively baggy or long. Getting an incredibly long, thin, collection of metal untangled from your set of clothes is not a good time.Thinking of getting my ears pierced some time. Not right now though, got more important things to do, for the time being. Also on the ticket is getting a new wristband for the Casio, ever since the rubber one it came with had long since deteriorated, cracked, and thrown away years prior to now. "Men's Jewellery" is quite the odd, grey area for its title. It's a category with its own unspoken acceptables and disrespectables, like other pieces, but the rules are even more hushed at lower volumes. It is a good candidate for some deeper historical research to be done personally.

Georgie Fame - Stormy (1971) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=82wnf0plNAcI am going to listen to old pop songs crammed with brass and strings and female background group vocals with nothing but a Type T desk lamp on and nobody is going to stop me.Dudes can't belt out melodic vocals like this anymore, all they know is punk yell and metal growl and thom york falsetto and eat mcdonalds and charge they androids and hate women ironically on-line. Will you sign my petition to bring all the dudes to a magic school bus time travel trip to the pre-Punk era and learn how to Dudes Rock Vintage.#np #nowplaying #fediplay
