@curlymario you mean The Witcher? As a slav (Polish) I'm glad book gets this adaptation, we probably wouldn't be able to produce series that does book justice (we tried once and failed).Also, it's always cool to see other countries to take interest in your culture and see how they approach it.

@feld but there you have completely closed ecosystem with one entity having complete control over it.I still do console gaming, but ideology-wise, I lean towards PC.

@feld 1. And why wouldn't I want more from my devices?2. Prices, modding and preservation are important for gaming experience. Closed nature of ecosystems makes it difficult for those aspects to be as good as they could be.

@feld in both points you are pushing my arguments way beyond what they were and answer to the points I didn't or wouldn't made.That being said, for the most part, you're not wrong – we're just looking at this from different points of view – my being more idealistic.I would argue with some of them, but given how far we went from original discussion, this could go on forever, especially with how long those posts are getting, so maybe let's not do that.
