I get so excited by seed catalogues and the temptation is to always order more seeds than available space to grow. They just look so pretty and tempting...#Seeds

@teslas_moustache sorry, these are UK-based catalogues...The only US one I know of is https://www.rareseeds.com/. But I don't know how good they are.

Have to say, again, I do LOVE how filters actually work on Masto, and that you have options like Timeline, Notifications etc.I was wondering why a particular toot from a convo I was part of was suddenly filtered. It's because I have filtered out 'linux' and that was in the toot. I changed the filter settings so I would see anything with this word in it in Notifications and Conversations, whilst still avoiding general toots about the topic in my timeline, and volia, it worked. This was such a big issue for me on birdsite, as their filters don't work and it made life there so difficult at times (particularly with trying to avoid my phobia). And having it work and with decent functionality here on Masto, well, it really makes a positive difference.#Filters

@zxv I confess I do find it hard to understand how you can be friends with someone that thinks nazis have a right to be heard. And worry about that BIPOC on or interacting with #SunbeamCoop may feel unsafe.

@zxv this is fair enough, thanks for explaining. Obviously they are blocked and won't impact on SBC etc, but I'm trying to think of wider implications.I appreciate your openness. I do see your point. I happen to be reading #MeAndWhiteSupremacy at the moment, so I'm really trying to challenge my own actions and privilege, and how I deal with racism, nazis, etc.It will be good to see what other feedback you get.#SunbeamCoop

#FlorespondenceThree different snowdrops. The first is Galanthus nivalis, the common snowdrop. This is the one you see everywhere, even along roadsides. It’s green markings on the inner petals look a bit like headphones. The second one is the slightly larger Galanthus ‘Magnet’. You can see that the green markings on the inner petals are more like an inverted V. This is more likely to be seen in gardens. The last is Galanthus ‘Ophelia’. This is known as a double snowdrop (the other two are known as single snowdrops), with many more inner petals. This one has very strong green markings. There are over 500 cultivars of snowdrop! People who are seriously into snowdrops are called Galanthophiles :)#Plants #Gardening @plants
