       @thatcosmonaut i think that if we ever do develop AI that "thinks like a human" or whatever that means then it will be something we do long long after AI already exceeds us and it will be done as a gimmick project. it would be like making a horseless carriage that uses a robotic horse to pull it instead of its own engine. utterly unnecessary but hey we COULD make it.

       @dankwraith in my weaker moments i genuinely hope every market just fucking crashes in a giant cascade.  boeing takes a dive because of things, investor trust declines and housing takes a dip, causing even more uncertainty and then massive privacy campaigns cause social media to take losses and then everyone just panics and everything just fucking breaks all at once, and the banks just explode and take everything with them.
