@SIC_Guy @supersid333 There was a Faiz 20th anniversary movie then and a bunch of merch to go along with it so the only choices were likely Faiz or the currently airing series.They had a Machine Sentai Kiramager crossover sometimes before that and Chris got to be both the red ranger and the megazord.

@Seth_Wachhaltamittel Gameplay wise it's a nice improvement from persona 5, and with a more serious story but there's some cringe in the translation.Keep in mind the story has a lot of "racism bad" but it's from the Japanese view of such, where the different races represent different subgroups of Japanese and maybe some other types of Asians.

@Seth_Wachhaltamittel They certainly tried but the game doesn't give them much to work with in its story. I also heard the reason it doesn't have romance subplots like persona is because the head writer didn't want to have to deal with westerners complaining that there were no gay romance options.

@SIC_Guy @supersid333 It is literally Decade's fault we have toy spam now.Having a reason to re-sell all the last 9 years of toys during Decade made bandai and toei realize they prefer having dozens of toys to sell each year instead of just a dozen.Now every rider has to have 20 forms that all get used in the first third of the show with 50+ collectable belt inserts and the show doesn't get much chance to slow down and do it's thing until the first mid season upgrade form (and the main rider now gets 2-3 mid season upgrades before the final form instead of just one)And then one of the post series movies adds a final final form.They're lucky some of the writers are talented enough to be able to work around all this shit and give us a decent show 50% of the time.

@SIC_Guy Unfortunately I think it will be even worse than just another MMPR, and it will be another thing like what Hasbro do with kyuranger where they make their own new suits that look awful and only use some of the robot fight footage from the Sentai.Also there is room for one more MMPR remake in the distant future: one where the entire team are White rangers.
