@todayilearned that's slightly misleading since for most people, it consisted of very-low-alcohol beer drunk almost every day because they didn't have access to safe drinking water. It's not like people were slamming down Jim Beam 24/7

@todayilearned Remember back then that interesting movies were rarely shown on TV and even then just once - being able to see this one sort of whenever you wanted (because it was on so much) was a real surprise.

Nobody has good numbers because of all the home testing. Does your state, or the state hospital association, keep track of COVID hospitalizations? That and wastewater virus numbers are my go-to measurement.
