@HeavenlyPossum His normalizing relations with China was not the wonderful flex a lot of people thought it would be. It helped a lot of businesses make billionairs and destroy labor unions from cheap goods made by slave labor.

@Nonilex I'm a U of A graduate. I remember when using a handheld calculator was not allowed in the science departments. They made us use slide rules when taking tests.

@Nonilex My father was an union official. When they took large corporations to court for NLRB offenses, he said the only thing that company executives and their council feared was the possibility of being jailed even for just a few days. They paid million dollar settlements and fines like it was petty cash but when the judge explained the possibility of jail, their whole demeanor became focused and fearful.
