       @CatDragon @0xabad1dea I remember maybe 15 years ago some banks were offering fingerprint readers, maybe it was more for business customers.  Now most banking apps tie in to the phone's biometric reader, so - you can!

       @JamesGleick I'm as guilty of this as anyone, but I think it's unhealthy for #Mastodon users to obsess over the #Twitter user base.  It's like being bitter over an ex.  Living well is the best revenge, as they say, so if Mastodon and its ecoverse continues to grow and improve then more people will undoubtedly follow.

       @ChrisWere I'm now imagining a bot trained to argue at first, but eventually come round to whatever point of view the arguer is proposing.  I'm not sure what greater effect it would have, if any, but I bet it would be extremely popular.
