One of the best flight deals I have seen lately now that prices are normalized is Costa Rica for around ~$300 round trip. I have always wanted to go there...but I realized most of the activities require a lot of walking. I am able to do light hiking but a mile, or even an incline such as "a single flight of stairs" ruins me. So I guess no to that. Also the part even vaccinated, traveling seems irresponsible until they are sure vaccinated people aren't just asymptomatic spreaders.

I am going to make my first ever subtoot. Mainly because I have to say something (my brain compelled me) but don’t want to rain on the parade if someone trying to do a useful message. But damn if that is all the planning and record keeping someone has to do to accomplish something, where do you actually find time to get anything done?

I must have forgot to lock my door again because someone went through it again . . . but honestly this time they didn't take anything but a shitty rechargeable radio, some of my change, and possibly my universal phone tripod mount (which is pretty funny because for some reason I've lost like 4 phone tripod mounts ), about a dollar worth of nickels and dimes.They left some bluetooth headphones and a high quality charging cables, which probably were the most valuable things in the car without going into the trunk.I don't leave anything of value in my car anymore because this has happened so much. It is a weird feeling of violation, but also kind of makes me feel like I have bad taste that they didn't steal more, hahah.

CPR classes are so weird.It's been the same darn class every two years for the past few years. But even with that similarity the classes still feel completely different based on the teacher. Today's teacher is basically talking about all the scenarios where you shouldn't do CPR, which is, pretty much any time you're out of your home apparently.

One of the best Christmases I ever had was also one of the weirdest. I went to a party with a bunch of internet people Christmas Eve and somehow I ended up at a friend’s house. We talked for hours and then she was suddenly all “bed time!!!” and I laid there for like three hours trying to fall asleep in the strange place. Maybe an hour after finally falling asleep, she woke me up and gave me a present. A Green Bay Packers’ jersey. I don’t care about any NFL team but it was still overwhelmingly sweet to me. No one had ever given me a present in person before who wasn’t a relative. She then was like “but, gotta go, my mom is coming over soon to pick me up to take me to her house. “I didn’t have a car at the time. So I had to wait like an hour outside for the first bus to run on holiday schedule. You know what’s surreal? A bus on Christmas. I will never forget it.
