@enigmatico I'll admit that's a major reason for not nuking my birdsite account yet, but I also wonder if the bigger companies like Nijisanji and Hololive require a twitter account for their streamers. I feel bad for anyone who's career is highly twitter dependent at the moment.

@Rasp I already have it on preorder even though I thought Gen 8 was mid. I'm hoping there has been some improvement since it's not the first main gen game on the console

So Hive is trending and there are twitter influencers/ecelebs headed that way.I'm a little relieved. A separation between that group and the #fandom groups on mastodon could be the start of the fourth wall coming back, and that's what I really want to see in fannish spaces.
