You can ask ChatGPT to help with Wikidata SPARQL queries.Really comfortable, as otherwise it is really PITA to use:Example: SPARQL query that can be used to find all towns with more than 30,000 inhabitants and within a 50km circle around international airports in Austria, and that includes the name of the town in the results, using only German labels, and that returns unique results.#ChatGPT #WikiData

Yesterday evening I came up with another funny game for #ChatGPT:Co-authoring of a story. You know those books, which are essentially a series of letters - epistolary novels.I roughly described the circumstances and asked the LLM to write letters, step by step.It produced interesting content because in the plot I referred to famous people that it knows something about as background info.Letters were still a bit dull, but it worked - I wont provide screenshots, just DIY.#LLM #OpenAI

#Music recommendation for the holidays:Alessandro Cortini's 2015 album "Forse 3". Truly unique & remarkable:"All pieces were written and performed live on a Buchla Music Easel, in the span of one month. I found that the limited array of modules that the instrument offers sparked my creativity. Most pieces consist of a repeating chord progression, where the real change happens at a spectral/dynamic level, as opposed to the harmonic/chordal one."1st track: Contahttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OVwNPOUyChY

Tsundoku - collecting books, without reading them.As Cambridge Elements eBooks (essentially PDF files) were often available for free right after publication, I collected quite a few interesting ones last year.Which one should I pick first and read front to back?Once I get a few convincing proposals, I’ll make it a poll.

@tanepiper @FroehlichMarcel Just notice that the last sentence lacks some context:I didn’t think of physics when I wrote that, but more general how as cultures we construct our world and relating artifacts. There is a constant drift and more often than we tend to notice real shifts, invalidating previous knowledge and related objects. Example: how we create and consume popular music.
