the only animal products I can say I actually "miss" at this point is fish and steak. nothing else even registers. maybe im a weirdo but I couldn't really tell the difference between a "good" steak or "good" fish anyway? shit always kinda tasted pretty similar to me with a lil bit of flair here and there so I really don't feel like I'm missing out on anything tbh. then again I've only been to an upscale restaurant exactly once in my entire life so its not like my palate is super bougie

its so wack how people end up believing tech itself is the enemy of small independent artists and such, but not the corporations that always end up abusing the tech by attempting sell exclusive access to it in order to squeeze out a profit by any means necessary. and this seems to inevitably result in making the tech worse and less accessible too

I’m not even doubting that some people do pretend to be queer for clout but that’s gotta be a tiny minority and I’m not sure how many circumstances there could be where pretending to be marginalized only results in an increase of power but none of the other negative consequences that come with it, but generally speaking folk getting angry at people for defying gender norms just reads as conservative to me most of the time. queerness is more than simple aesthetics but saying someone’s not really queer because their aesthetics aren’t good enough gives me gas

all I got to say about the “white people can’t even really be trans” thing is uhhh idk, duh? lol. white people can’t even be fully human because an allegiance to whiteness stops them from relating to the rest of the earth in any healthy or normal way. whiteness is monstrous. it turns what would otherwise peaceful beings into violent and greedy ignorant beasts. eliminate the wretched grip whiteness has on your souls and then we’ll talk I guess.and before one of you inevitably calls me a nazi or something I don’t mean genetically I mean ideologically. I don’t think white people are a whole separate species but that’s literally the assertion that white aligned people imposed to justify segregation and slavery, so.I’m not convinced white people are even aware or all that concerned about the effect being white has had on their psyche and worldview. and it’s beyond just like the stereotypical “oh haha we can’t dance or season food” and more “oh we’ve completely disentangled ourselves from the ecology and cultural history of the rest of the planet in order to own property, yikes…”
