       As a longtime gym rat, I used to scoff at all the newbies who would resolve to get fit in the new year. Since long COVID has, among other things, robbed my energy and ability to recover from most physical activity, this whole year had been a washout. I’ve finally got around to dusting off the black iron and washing off my mats in my dungeon gym. I’m hoping to start a simple exercise program while SLOWLY upping the volume and intensity over time. No more ego lifting from here on out.
