@Seedsaver Hey neighbor! Dad started when it was Chance-Vought too. I think they changed to LTV around 1964. Your uncle and my Dad may have worked together. Dad didn't talk about his work either, although I know he worked on the Corsair and the V/STOL.

@Lonestar More like 60 years ago. We were required to have all vaccinations before we went enrolled in elementary school, except smallpox, which we got in high school. I also remember entire families standing in line to get the Sabin polio vaccination via a sugar cube at our elementary school.
