       @grammargirl I read it and it is interesting! And now that I'm thinking about them I can't think of any of the idioms we use here but I am sure they will pop up as soon as I stop thinking about it. The Australian idioms about taking a sick. He reminded me of the guy we met one time from Tasmania said he was going to get a "slab of tinnies", which he said means a case of canned beer. So there's that.
