@sarahtaber Prison labor is slave labor. People are paid pennies. They are locked in cages when they're not working. The tiniest treat for themselves might cost a months worth of wages. Crime has been dropping, globally, since the 80s and 90s. Before Biden signed the 94 crime bill, crime rates had dropped. The only reason for mass incarceration is cheap corporate labor. It's class war. And frankly, we should be breaking people out.

@futurebird There's an animal rescue crisis in the USA. Thousands of animals are being euthanized because people have to flee the country. Beautiful animals. Deporting & abusing even one person is not OK. People passing this legislation, funding this travesty, working for ICE all took an oath to the US constitution that they are breaking.
