@sj_zero @rolle @realcaseyrollins I get your point but I don't even want to know how dark certain corners of the Fediverse are and kind of doubt anyone would feel even remotely safe there!

@postmarketOS I absolutely love your distro regardless (my favorite phone OS) and wont ever try to tell you what to do but just out of curiosity, did you consider packaging Ubuntu Touch stuff yet? I installed Lomiri on Mobian and it's not really working yet (only in a odd desktop mode) but apps like the Morph browser do work and those are fantastic, I just wish especially that specific app also worked on PmOS and wonder if there are any plans for it! :)

@postmarketOS Disclaimer: I never packaged jack shit and have no clue what I am talking about so to everyone out there, please don't take me too serious! I am just curious and really want to see separated parts of the community to move beyond certain technical hurtles, in that spirit I also really wish Ubuntu Touch supported Flatpaks but understand their limitations in terms of resources and scope and highly respect the amazing things they archive despite of those!

@BrodieOnLinux @TheEvilSkeleton From me THE Wayland "propagandist" will get nothing but nice comments most of the time but I can imagine what you have to deal with at times! I have more than enough issues dealing with stupidity on platforms like Lemmy and considering how easy I can be to trigger I am very happy to moderate nothing whatsoever!

@BrodieOnLinux I still remember when he started to shit on Mastodon and take his videos off Youtube, he was a little strange before but I think isolation probably wasn't the best solution for that! I do however also think it's worth considering what seems to be the previous buisiness of a leading persona in the FOSS world, especially if pseudo medicine and similar "spiritual" garbage is involved!

@BrodieOnLinux I finally want Fediforge, I discovered that when it was dead and was really disapointed but it's been going again for quite a while now! I think the video about a potential Gitlab integration even was from you so there certainly seems to be some movement in that direction now, I just hope they don't try to reinvent the extra things Fediforge had to add and cause compatibility issues!

@BrodieOnLinux I even stopped to use it in my VMs because the software support is shit by now but if I had to guess the only "usecase" would be if you are a die-hard Windows fan (I doubt those actually exist) and your computer can't run Windows 10. That still makes you a fucking idiot but it at least makes some sense beyond nostalgia I guess.

I forgot to post it but for those of you who (like me) desperately wait for push notifications on your #LinuxPhone there is a issue for #Phosh now, it's just to collect ideas and they don't plan to actually implement anything till suspend is figured out (that currently only works for calls and SMS) but it's a start! @agx Btw, it's totally understandable that you don't want to invest resources in it yet but I still wish you would reconsider that approach! It's a big difference to receive notifications every time you look at your phone or only if you open the corresponding app and that also gives the individual app developers a lot of time to implement it properly!
