@Tilopa it infuriates me that the GOP are drafting discriminatory anti-trans anti-drag bills and rage against drag story-hour but are completely silent about the fact that they are proposing lifting the ban on child labor for mining, meat packing and logging while simultaneously eliminating liability for corporations in the event a child died on the job...guess that whole "we must protect the children" cry of theirs is worthless https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/2023/02/11/child-labor-iowa/

@OhNoSheTwitnt our daughter, Pina, has been complaining about this since she was two. Now she's six and is designing and making her own clothes with HUGE pockets ...she also like using seaweed and found feathers for fashion

If the nation had followed the path Carter had placed us on rather than caving to Reagan the #ClimateCrisis could have been avoided, the US would be using the metric system and the middle class would very likely still exist.

Kudos to the EU Parliament for their ruling on replaceable batteries. Great news for consumers and the environment... and their ruling will not only cover smart phones, #eBikes too will have to follow this new regulation.

This is what a bikelane should look like. Bikes and cars should not have to share the road. Give bikes their own roads and if that is too expensive just remove cars from half the existing roads.

@futurebird in my day, if we were lucky, we had a rear deck where our friends would stand while holding on to our shoulders. They had both hands free tò hold on because no One had tò hold a cellphone and we didn't need to call our friend because they were already standing on the bick of our bike and were already chatting with us
