@Wolven 30 years later I still get the occasional one. Usually I have to teach a class outside my expertise, which I then forget about until exam day, when I walk by the room and realize I didn't create any exam questions.Brains. Amazing things.

@Jeremiah @ebassi there's a great deal of misogyny baked into the claims of "excessive compensation". She's earning at the low side of compensation for a corporation with $3/4B in revenues, most from deals brokered by the CEO rather than direct product revenue.

@aral it's highly likely that the tracking and use of the data is so fully automated that no person ever even thought "we should collect data on disabilities through the DMV site". That doesn't excuse the ill-use, but can explain it. Automation leads to all sorts of perverse effects.

New addition to the shop. Clausing 108 with quick change gearbox. Until my purchase it was a single family machine.The apron clutch was seized, but after putting 3/4qt of oil in it now works sweetly. It doesn't seem to need anthing at all to be put into service.#metalworking #machining
