@Bashabez5 There's a massive amount of gas under Bolivia's rainforest--possibly the biggest reserve in the world. Evo has asked for compensation from so-called "first-world" countries for keeping as much as possible in the ground--his argument being that countries like the US exploited the earth's wealth for their development, and are now asking less developed countries to not do so. He was the leading voice of this movement for reparations from the developed world for environmental preservation--and short of a dramatic, revolutionary shift in democratic power towards the masses worldwide, this is probably *the* most feasible plan for keeping oil and gas where it belongs; in the ground.I guarantee you this is major factor in what the coup is really about.

It's both hilarious and terrifying to watch central banks still scrambling to correct what broke in 2008 by flooding the markets w/ more cheap money.Low interest rates used to be considered an emergency tool to address deflationary spirals. Now they can't get off them because any time they do markets plummet.But none of these banks are willing to entertain the fact that, hey, maybe capitalism is failing now that everything has been commoditized and there's no frontiers for it to easily push beyond to make up for its failings?There's no new continents, not nearly as much environment left to pillage that's out of the hot glare of the public eye, very few countries that haven't been imperialized yet (if any), etc.And nothing left, in the age of austerity, to squeeze from workers without a major tech boost. But no boost is coming because low wages don't exactly encourage innovations in efficiency.Tl;dr I don't think the next crash will be a small one...
