Savarkar wrote a book 'The War of Indian Independence' where he praised who heartedly the Hindu-Muslim unity during rebellion of 1857. He boldly praised Muslim fighters and went on to condemn Hindu Rajas of princely states for siding with British. 1/2

In 1911 he went to jail and everything changed. People who appreciate Savarkar, talk only about what he was before going to jail but people criticize & despise him because they know what he became after coming back from jail & remained like that till death. 2/2
